jptravis1   Harry Jeffers and Mary O. Miller descendants   Hi Jenny, I'm sorry that I don't have information on the Miller family record. My connection to you is through Mary Ophelia (Miller) Jeffers. Her husband, Harry Irwin Jeffers, is my first cousin 4x removed: his mother, Isabella (Irwin) Jeffers was the sister of my great (x3) grandfather, Arthur Irwin. If Mary O. Miller passed the history down, it might have gone to their older son, William Harry Jeffers, who married Jessie Dean Gentry in 1928. William died from the pneumonia after helping out with a flood in Alabama in 1938, but Jessie Dean Gentry lived until 2005. There are several trees that have Jessie Dean Gentry in them, but the one which has posted most personal photos is that of the Ancestry user ddbjwilson. If she or her offspring retained information about the tree, perhaps you could find it there. If Mary didn't pass it down to William, perhaps it went to her younger son, Thomas. I don't have information on a possible lead on any Ancestry users with family material from that side of the family. As far as I've been able to trace, Thomas had only one child, Virginia May Jeffers, who died in 1995. And the only child I could find of hers was Virginia Wright, who died young (at 16 years old) in 1958. so it may be able to trace family history from that branch. Good luck on your search! Please let me know if you find anything -- while I'm not directly related to the Millers, it's always great to hear of others' stories of discovery! All my best, John
