Biography

Mary Ann Bennett was born on 1 November 1821 in Marysville, Vermilion County, Illinois. Based on her cemetery stone, this would be her birthdate.1 She was born in 1825 in Ohio.2,3,4,5,2 She was born in 1826 in Ohio.6 She died after 1880. This cemetery inscription shows that there is a Peter Miller, with wife Mary Ann who died in 1885. It is NOT our Mary Ann Miller.7
Mary Ann Bennett was also known as Mary Ann Miller. Sibling, of is proved by. She appeared on the census of in 1830 in the household of Charles Bennett in Vermilion County, Illinois. I put Female child 1 (49750) in as one of the girls; it could also have been Female child 2 (49751)-- one of these girls was md by 18308 Parentage of is proved by. Proves mother as Susannah (doesn't include father, who was dead at this time)9 She sold to on on 30 November 1877 of in Lafayette County, Wisconsin.10 She lived in Jo Daviess County, Illinois, on 30 November 1877. She appeared in the census in 1880 at District 69 in Warren Township, Jo Daviess County, Illinois.6
